Excellent set of photos Ray. Maureen would be very familiar with number two photo.

Little error on photo 2. The bus route number is 342,which was Wigan to Billinge and return, not St Helens as posted.

Ray, memories of the early 1960's- Route 125 Wigan -Preston. Used to catch this from Standish up to Preston for a Saturday night out Last bus back from Preston used to be rowdy.
Stagecoach Wirral have a Ribble livery Dennis (PX04DPV) that spent most of 2016 working the Liverpool-Cross River service and local routes. Have not seen it around Birkenhead this year though.
It's on "youtube" as well.

352 was st helens

Hello ah,My earlier correction refers to the route number and journey that the Albion was on, and also that 352 was
the St Helens route, 362 was also a St Helens route, that went via Church Street,Orrell, and Sandy Lane.
Kind Regards, Ray.

Ray - I'm sure you'll remember when The Running Horses/Sandy Lane route alternated with The Running Horses/St James's Road route, and maybe, also, when the pattern ceased; the former having stood the test of time.
