Taken on No.2 yard.
Left. Bill Gaskell, ( yard foreman ) and Mel Reeves ( FLT driver ),
For the purists amongst us, ( if there are any ), the bricks on the wagon weren't produced at Ravenhead, they were made at the ' Redac ' works at Huncoat, near Accrington. They are in packs of 500, as opposed to the stupid packs of 404 that were produced at Ravenhead. A legacy from the days of Roughdales in St. Helens.

I worked at the same place as Mel in the early 70s.
