It was hard work punching up snap with a load of mining machinery, equally as hard coming down loaded, the jungle cafe, happy days

This is a very touching monument and there must have been many,many Wigan drivers passed this way.

Well like it says on the Monument, before the M6 was built drivers from Wigan and indeed all over Britain would have had no choice but to pass this point.
