In 6 years they would be cannon fodder in the Great War!!

I don't know about the other two, but Edward Farrell lived until the 1940s.

My Grandfather was one of the rescuers.In the book about the disaster, there is a photo of some of them. He is the one on the extreme left.

I believe that Edward Farrell was my great uncle...my grandmother's brother who came from Carrowkeel, Bohola in Co.Mayo.

My grandad William Moore also survived, he was actually listed as one of the dead on the memorial poster. he had left the shift early after feeling ill, but had not handed on his tally. He died wen I was 3 in 1965, in his seventies

Billy (Doran) Catterall died October 1969 and was the last of the 3 to survive. He was only 18 when rescued
