I worked at Debenhams 1973-1976. There was a man known as Big George. Not sure he would still have been there in 1993, but it looks like him.

I worked as a casual one Xmas under George and Paul at Debenhams in the late 80's. Goods inward at the time only had a counter against the warehouse wall not an office. George taught me to sweep up one day between deliveries, I swear it was 60 mins before I even touched the brush. I remember pranking some of the warehouse girls with a dead mole at the bottom of a card board box. I've no idea where the mole came from. Sad to learn of Paul's demise.

I worked there on rage YTS from 1986, both there plus lovely Ron ... Great days!
