Yes his dad did have a pub in Leigh, but we knew him as Bill. Been trying to contact him. Last time I heard he was living in the Winstanley area.

Gee. It looks like it may have been Friday night which was overtime. We only worked 4 nights. On Friday you were allowed to come into work up to 11.00p.m. So I may have been out with my girlfriend of the time<g> We were Test Engineers It wasn't a dirty job. There was only aboy 10 or 12 people who worked on the Night Turn I loved it The only problem was trying to sleep during the night at weekend Before I got married I worked for 18 months on the night turn.
