There was a programme on The One Show tonight about the terrible mining disaster which took place in South Wales when so many men lost their lives.Here is a document nearer home which is self explanatory.

I would ask those that made derogatory comments accompanying the Bickershaw Colliery photograph, relating to miners' in general, (25th, January,2013,)to take note of these statistics, and the awful truth of it.
