Hi Kath, what a lovely photo of your mum. You probably won't remember me , but I lived in Carlton Street,next door to Elgar Matthews and knew both you and your brother John. Strangely enough I was talking to Derek Wilde in Shevington just a few days ago and your name was mentioned as we spoke about people we remembered from Poolstock. Hope you are keeping well.

i used to live in the first house in carlon street with my mother and father both of whom used to work at eckersleys. mum went on to work at clifton mills while dad went to reeds.

I remember you Jeff and your parents. You lived next door but one to me. The houses we lived in are still standing, but a number of new builds have gone up over the years.
