Remember the place well. I worked there in the 1960s. I worked with Eric Cox on the panzer gearbox section before I left.

I remember Bob Foster, Freddie Briscoe, Albert Gray, The Marrow brothers, Alf Monks. nd many more. I left in approx 1970 to work at Bold Colliery and then Sutton Manor. I left Sutton Manor and moved to Portsmouth. I now work for Portsmouth City Council. I am due to retire in September. I live about 2 miles away from Southsea

I worked on panzer gear box section,I remember Eric Cox,I am still in touch with Bob Kay,and I see Ronnie Johnson,also Ronnie Briscoe.Been up to Kirkless recently its not the same.The comments by Sandra Mary Barnes were put on by me.Regards to all.
Some names there I remember when I worked there in the late 60s for John Jenkinson.
