Can anyone recognise the hall? It looks like it is quite a big place.

My lord.... that is a HUGE room! I have never seen the like except in Germany.

Would it be a church building, or a municple one? I for one would love to know, becasue the interior is massive, so what did the exterior loom like!

I think it's the Drill Hall in Powell Street (see under "Places" in this Album, where there's a pic of it crowded with troops, and others with the sides blocked in with side rooms). Can I use these pics for my Parish mag, please? The deadline's drawing close, and I've space to fill!

I also thought it was the Drill Hall David, but wasn't too sure, it was the wall panelling that made me think of there, but not having been in there for around thirty years the memory fades. I think you are right in saying it is the Drill Hall though.
