This was the last school photo. with Rector Hall who sadly died June 18th. 1961
Great photo Lyndon.These were all my teachers throughout all my school years at Rectory except for Mr. Littler. I remember him well but he must have left in 1964. I was in Mr. Howarths class 6 and then when we moved up to class 7 Mr. Howarth came with us and was our class teacher for our 11+ in 1965
another good pic. lyndon, about 3/4 yrs. before i started but mrs. waterworth & mr howarth was still there.rector heaton was the clergy then.fond memories of mr. howarth really nice man.
All the teachers at this school made you feel wanted, two female teachers in particular ,Miss Shaw & Mrs Waterworth Realy looked after me.
Mr Littler was my form teacher for a while he also lived near me in billinge,
When I was at the bus stop he used to give me a lift,he became very ill just before I left the junior school around 1963, He was a very nice chap very considerate.
