freda put me out of my missery, who is the girl on the top row 5th from left, I think she may have come from Haydock, she is stood just behind & to the left of tommy sudworth

Sorry, but I don't think that ever got to know some of the older girls names, we'll just have to hope that someone comes on who can recognise a few more faces

Is that Tom Sudworth (first lad on 2nd row from the back). He's my father. I though he was on one of the other sections! He would have been 15 then.

My dad (Harry Atherton) is in this photo - I will ask him if he remembers any other names!

I know some names this photo- 4th line from top right side 3rd in Norman Harrison. 4th line frm top left side 2nd in Avice Ward,6th in Lurline ?. I think top right side 7th in Terry Morris.

The boy 3rd from right, bottom row, with blonde hair is my Brother John Williams
