Wigan Album

I am at the bottom extreme right.Next to me is David Atkinson. In between us second row up is David Glaze and on his right is Jeff Harrison.

This is Form 3A taken in 1959/60. The form teacher Mr. Ward was also the art teacher. After racking my brain the only names I can remember are:-
John Ashley, Barry Atherton, Jimmy Turner, Nash, Peter Spencer, Cunliffe, Alan Ainsworth, Brian Hope, Unsworth, Barry Pilling, Ernie Bates, Barry Mcnamara, David White, Brent Morrison, Tony Whittle, Can anybody tell me any of the others?

Fairly sure second from left back row is Mike Mcnulty

How are you, who put those photos on wigan world? they certainly bring back memories, do you still live around here, i'm still in Ashton. I can put some names onto the photo, FRONT, next to you John is'nt that Tommy Munro?" 2nd ROW, next to Barry Pillin is David Unsworth.3rd ROW, 2nd from left Jimmy ?? he worked at Kearsley & Gees near my Mums (ashton heath) 4th left Me (what a sight) Back ROW 5th from left Robert Hargreaves, I can't see Les Hodson on the photo, Les, Dave Stanly and myself all worked for British Gas.
David Atkinson goes past my house most days going into Ashton
Brian Hope went into the Navy then Wigan fire service, see him at rugby sometimes.
Love to here from you both, perhaps we could have a drink somtime?

Haven't seen this picture before. Dave Stanley is my brother. Mr Ward was my art teacher when I landed at Ashton Secondary some 13yrs later and he didn't look much different then he does in this photo.The wooden clad building in the background brings back memories too.

Hope someone can help... Trying to get hold of Brian Hope as pictured here. I was in the Navy with him and have lost his contact details. We get Christmas cards from them every year but have no idea how to get back in contact with them. Does anyone know Brian, his wife Hilda or any of the kids?
