I don't recognise any of the players unfortunately.
The caption doesn't state the precise year, just early 50s, so possibly a bit before my time.
But of the two staff members, the chap on the right was the headmaster, Leonard Pilling, who lived on Alexandra road, and I believe the other chap was Mr Sillitoe, ( I hope I've spelled his name correctly ), who lived at the top of Crankwood road in Abram.
Just a useless bit of info, but it may be of interest to someone...who knows?
