Gerard R.C. Infants School, 1963.
I was a pupil at Gerard R.C. Infants in 1958 till 1960 when we moved to North Wales. We lived in Spindle Hillock. I have 2 sisters Kathleen and Eileen. Anyone there at that period?

I went to Gerard school from1940 to 43, Miss Ashcroft was the intake infant teacher &miss Pigott took the elder class, we used the old building,
I was at the school 1958 until 1961 or 1962. Our teacher was Miss Cunliffe.
I attended the school approximately 1958 onwards. Miss Cunliffe was our lovely teacher along with Miss Owen and our dinner lady Mrs Parkinson. Our days were happy in Hardwood and the whole village smelt of sulphur and steam from the railway station.7
