Wigan Album

I know this has been posted to highlight Springfield Park and Central Park, so forgive me for going off-course, but I noticed a mention of Harry Pemberton, the late Wigan comedian, and wish the so-called comedians of today could take a leaf out of his book. I only saw him in his later days but he was hilarious.....no filth, no foul language, just funny. A gentleman! That's me done, please carry on with the football/rugby comments, but I hope other Wigan Worlders remember Harry's talent.

Great posting Irene, and a fantastic tribute to a lost generation of comics who were able to generate laughter for the whole family.
