The school entered a 5 a side team into a comp - I don't think we did too well but enjoyed it nevertheless.

Credit for this photo goes to Anita Gobin, top right. Anita got in contact during 2009 after a 25 year hiatus!
Sorry to here about Jason B, he always made me laugh when we were at school.

I remember Timothy Wilkes and Jason black hurst and lee benstead they was in my class at st marys c of e school my mum vi Ashton was the cleaner and caretaker happy memories

Hi Andrew the boy Christopher his last name is Robson we were all in the same class together right up to leaving in the summer of 1981 before we started our respective high schools in the August of 1981 myself and Christopher Robson and Stuart Knowles who isn't in this photograph all started park high school formerly Hindley and Abram grammar school on Tuesday 11'th of August 1981 were as the other class members started at Rosebridge high school.
Anita gobin's parents ran the old hall public house on the corner of cemetery road in the 70's.
Sadly Timothy and Jason are no longer with us but always in our thoughts and prayers God bless you all.
