The boy you have down as Bankes,2nd from the right, might in fact be a boy called Waring, who I knew many years ago when he went to Wigan GS.Not 100% sure though.

Would this be Bob Randall who played RL for Widnes from 1960 to 1965. Fullback and goal kicker ?

Yes, the lad second from the right is Keith Waring and was Captain of Bankes House before I succeeded him in that most prestigious position. Great days they were, too! Nice to see Bob Randall again in the centre. I think he played for Widnes RLFC as full-back and goal-kicking specialist. He had a very sweet boot when playing for WGS 1st XV. Wasn't Sherrington the 1st XV hooker at the time?
