I have in my possession an obituary for my great-grandfather William Wood. This obituary mentions one of Wood's former pupils Mr J.A. Johnson JP (would have been sometime after 1882 when Wood taught both at the Wigan Institute and as a private tutor. Anybody with info?

This is I. W. Johnson ( Teddy) music master, deputy head and headmaster in 1953.
