Hi scott, that will be your aunt doreen, it is same age group of a few friends of mine, ian burrows, bert thompson who now lives in bryn, and joe knowles taxi driver from ashton, i went school with joe's son steve, who also drives taxis,they used to live in elm ave.

Kevin Marriot who passed away in 1977. She now lives in Bryn.

I am confused.com . My Auntie Doreen lived at 31 poplar avenue with my mum ( Joan Wall , nee Cunliffe & My Grandparents , Bill & Bertha Cunliffe ) . She Later married my Uncle ( John Bryan ) Lived in Birch grove and then later moved to Spindle Hillock.

mentioned I was born just a few doors from this family and my mum still lives there, I think if you could check by dates you may find she was older than those on this photo
If I had to guess I would say by about 2 years. But I did know her well but she was older than myself and I was in the
same year as those above.Hope this helps you.

Hi mary, i remember you and your family well hope your in best of health, sadly doreen bryan nee {cunliffe} died some years ago, she was a good friend of my mother lillian and is sadly missed by us all, have not seen you for a long time please keep in touch, Dave lewis.

hi scott.your auntie doreen lived across the road from me with your mum on the island.next to the edwards twins.she was a couple of years older than us on the photo.but i knew uncle john and your dad and your mum and of course i know you well.but they werent related to doreen on the photo.great photo judy been waiting to see the other part of our class .tell peemac ive been asking about him.

Only just seen this photograph, but what memories it brings back. I wonder were we are today and what became of us.

Hi Judith,what a great photo. It's amazing that it's been on over 12 months and I've only just seen it. Brings back happy memories. Janet Fox from Spindle Hillock, only with us a year or two then moved to Yorkshire and who can forget the irrepressible Winnie Roberts who always seemed to be happy and laughing. All good memories.
