This is St John's RC Primary School, c1953, probably the infants class and the photo was taken in Greenough St. I am 3rd from the right.
I think that my brother Gerard is in the middle on the front row,he is wearing glasses

The teacher on the right of the picture was big Miss Davies,her sister also taught at St John's and she was known as little Miss Davis.The were a force to be reckoned with. No relation by the way.

Great to see my old class mates so neat and tidy. I must be at the back (story of my life). Following previous comments: I was terrified of big miss Davies even tho she never used a sick on us,

I think that's me in the front centre with my head turned to the left. I think the boy with the blond hair was Michael Gallagher.
