I've puzzled as to where this photo., was taken, I realised only recently it's
Dicconson St., the bay windowed house on the right is the dentists,they past this on there way back to the Parish after singing Faith Of Our Fathers and The National Anthem on the Market Square.Whit Monday was a very special day, we lost part of our heritage when it ceased .Happy days!.
Helol Tommy (as it was at school) I can read that u pass a number of comments about old Wigan and bye- Gone Times u have a really good memory ( so have I ) real nice to read about old Wigan
Best Gegards Bernard Mullaney WOW u say how long ago waas that I left St John Fisher in July of 1960 and I have only seen u once since then, a number of the lads have died off BUT lots are very much still around
