That scene hasn't changed very much apart from the old style traffic lights and what look like old tram wires or are they telephone lines.

Christine, is Mr Rimmer the one wearing cap and gown? Reminds me of Teacher in the Bash Street Kids.

The headmaster Mr Rimmer is the one second left. He was head of Moss Lane school . Left is Mr Hurst head of the junior school He is next to Canon Arthur Dean, Vicar of St. Nathaniel's. Mr Holland I think who was the organist is on the right.

The chap on the right is not Norman Holland, who was my grandfather. I don't know who it is, I'm afraid.

The overhead lines were power for the trolley buses.
