Ladies Lane,I would say roughly outside that pub, the Brewers Arms, shown in the earlier photo. However,why are the lads in the white shirts at the front carrying a couple of baseball bats each? I don't remember doing that when I walked with St Bens in the sixties. I know it was rough at the top end of Ladies Lane near Ward St, but I didn't think they were all protestants as well!!!

Indian Club Swinging was a popular pastime around this time perhaps they are doing a demonstration as they walked?

If the 1st sphere you can see is St Johns Methodist, what the chimney to the left of it, and what is the other sphere? As St Pauls I don't think could be seen?

This was yr. my father was born and probably around that time. (June)
