Probably leaving Florence St into Kirkless St. Mum, Doreen Hankin and me just left of centre.

Great set of pics you putting on here,,,have been catching up with them,,,not been on site for ages,,,was ;looking at the sandhole pics other night,,,,loads of memories,,we must have been at St Catharines at the same time,,,though I think you might have been a year or two younger,,,,great to see all the old streets,,,,,amazing,,,nostalic,,,hard to describebto people if you where stood where the old school was how many street and house there where,,,am told That i live in the past at times,,,but I read a comment on here that some one said to one of dks down loads,,,which went summat like(to ignore the past is to deny you ever lived)dont think that was the exact wording,,,how true that is,,,,and very profound,,,,

One great memory that springs to mind is going into the off licence in the back ground there on the corner ,and getting a glass of ginger beer for 1d,,,I used to at clarington brook

My grandad was born in Florence st, April 1896 went to look but sadly they had been demolished.
