I think this was taken about 1981 as it was the year I made my First Holy Communion and the crowning would usually take place a week or so later. My brother Andrew Nyland is the alter boy in the in photo and Fr Mclinden is the priest.It was taken on St Williams school field and the parochial hall is in the background

My Dad has informed me that the man in the background with the beard is Brian Delaney
