Apologies again for poor quality. Still frames rescued from cine film. Boys Brigade on Ince Bar and heading back from Rose Bridge. Some buildings are still in situ.

The second boy from front looks like George Cunliffe.

It is George. Little George to us all because his Dad was George.

This is actually the Church Lads Brigade not Boys Brigade. My husband years later eventually became the Officer in Charge of the CLB. George Cunliffe became one of the junior leaders in the CLB. The CLB always had flat caps the BB always have the forrester caps and the leaders had the glengarries with a tazzle at the back. On the other picture the boy in front of George is Jacky Martin and the boy behind is Gilbert Cunliffe as they were all in my class at Belle Green School

My dad went to rose bridge and did many walking days.Does any one remember William Jones 151 belle green lane 1950s.60s.
