A lot different than how it was in the 50s and 60s...Am I correct in thinking that they don't have Walking Days anymore....

Yes you're right Dave it is Mrs. Abbott, my Mum's cousin. I think you're correct Janet, if you can remember an earlier thread about Holy Trinity, seems there aren't enough parisioners now due to lack of attendence at church. So sad, a great tradition gone, it cuts deep for the old Downallgreeners
Mrs Abbott must be in her 80s now.
Taught me in Class 1, 1976.
