Love the buildings in the Background of lower Standishgate just before the junction with Dicconson Street, the old Electricity Showroom in Mock Tudor with its timber frame and wood frontage windows (a lost architectural gem) and a glimpse of St Pauls Church. These days neither would have been demolished to make way for that bland row of brick built parade of shops!
