The street is unknown, but thought to be Off Scofield Lane somewhere. Unfortunately, there is no banner and no names are known nor children recognised. Maybe someone out there knows.

It was the custom for the Platt Lane Mission scholars to form up in Caunce Street.I last "walked" with St Catharine's in 1951,What a demonstration.St Catharine's could bring Wigan to a standstill.We had 1200 Sunday School scholars & 200 teachers at that time
