This photo was taken on Warrington Road, Lower Ince. The parade had just turned out of Manley Street. Hilda Mason is the girl at the front and her mum, grandma and little brother Alan are the spectators on the right.

Wonderful. Margaret.....I feel I could just step back in time into that picture and see it all again. The chair on the pavement sums up Walking Day perfectly! Thankyou.

Lois Gregory ( mother of RL legend Andy)used to own the shop on the corner of Manley Street for her hairdressing business
