This photo was taken when the chemist's shop was still in Pool Street - the bus is just about level with it.
When did the chemists shop close? From being very young I loved the smell in that shop and vowed that one day I would also work in a Pharmacy- which I did eventually. Don,t recognise anyone in the pic but it is a long time since I lived in Grange Ave., coming to live in Cheshire in 1960.
