Good un jan, i remember that bad corner very well had a few near misses on mi bike as a young tearaway.

Hi Janice,the person in the dark suit I believe is Arthur Winstanley,behind him in the light suit is Cyril Catterall,I cannot remember North Ashton B.B. wearing this style of cap ,suspect this is Bryn B.B. .to the right is cromptons machine shop served part of my apprenticeship there 1959/60.

Yes thats Arthur Winstanley on the footpath and I think thats me just behind him, blonde hair and short pants. I'm not sure about the BB Company helping out I don't think its Bryn, we used to use some from the Wigan Batt.Highfield, St Nats Platt Bridge etc.
