Joe Chamberlain eh, I had many a hiding from that man, and Miss Bisbrown always sent me to him for one.I always thought her name sounded funny (Think about it)
So one day instead of going to him when she sent me, I went home and brought my dad to have a chat to him, Joe never touched me again after that.

The man below Joe Chamberlain is Mr. Sutton, the headmaster. Mr. Chamberlain was a captian in the army. During the war he brought an American Captain to visit the school and we all had to learn and sing the American National Anthem.Does anyone else remember? Probably 1944.

Hi My Mum was Enid Pimblett and she has one of the third place certificates - I think it may be her in the second row rather than younger sister Freda....
