1962 with my mam Sophia Searle MR Winstanly. We had gone for a week so my mam could have a rest as she'd had an operation and saw Mr winstanly and family there .

There used to be a lot of photos like this when cameras had less than accurate viewfinders. Some good thumb shots too, best of all was the inside of the lens cap!

Those Brownie cameras were very hardy, but sometimes difficult to focus. I suspect it was such a camera.

She looks very elegant with the pearls and dress and coat even if she is headless!
