Hello Graham,
Great photograph and I am Burt's Grandson and have many happy memories of being at the garage in the holidays through my child hood with my grandad. I have ended up working in the motor industry and must have been Burt's influeance. Have you any more photographs, history or memories you could share.
Hope to hear from you again.
Best regards
Neil Charnock

Hello Neil, I\'m sorry but this is the only picture I have of Bert. I once met someone who worked at an engineering company on Coniston Rd Hindley he told me he was a nephew of Berts and that Bert had lived in a nusing home before died. The engineering company has since been demolished with new houses in its place. Regards
Graham
