A brutish looking character isnt he..

Pru love Kowlaski was a brutal character and Mr Dowdall would need to play the part. Mr Dowdall is probably a very nice man, most actors are, in my experience.

I read in variety news that P. Bernard Dowdall is appearing the ITV production "The Fatest Man In Britain". No he's not playing the leading role although he does look if he could lose a bit of timber. The lead is played by Timothy Spall. It is scheduled for the Xmas holiday period.

Bernard appears in Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes. For lovers of Bobby Ball, he will appear on TV in Britains Fattest Man with Bernard and Timothy Spall.

Looks a very exciting new actor. Can't wait to see him on stage. Marlon Brando started his career in the same role in "Streetcar".
