Wiganers at Work

this photo made me feel so sad. Melancholy drags us down. sometimes these photos bring a lump to the throat for times gone by. seeing these pleasure halls in ruins is like seeing your memories smashed. (perhaps it better not to look?) (now I REALLY am feeling melancholic. (will be quoting poetry next) "if men could learn from history, what lessons it would teach us. Makes me so sad seeing that picture and remembering seeing films, watching live shows and learning to dance above at The Court School of dancing. A couple of years ago my son bought me a framed print showing exactly how it used to be.
