Chantel McGregor
Date: 6th October 2017
Details:  A female guitar prodigy, at fourteen Chantel was told by major labels that she had a “great voice, but girls don’t play guitar like that!” Wisely ignoring the comments, she enrolled at the Leeds College of Music and became the first student in the college’s history, to achieve a 100% pass mark, with 18 distinctions. Chantel left with a First Class Honours degree in Popular Music and a coveted prize, the college’s musician of the year award.

If you measure an artist’s prospects by the company they keep, then Chantel has been moving in the right direction. Early in her career, Chantel was invited to perform with Joe Bonamassa, on two of his UK tours.

When Chantel released her 2011 debut album, Like No Other, one critic said, “Chantel McGregor deserves to be held up as a messiah of blues-rock and given her own mountain. She doesn’t strum or pick her guitar but almost bends and distorts it, as if she’s channelling the ghost of Hendrix through her fingers”

The album was produced by Livingstone Brown, whose production credits include Ed Sheeran, Robin Trower, and Shakira. The end result was a beautifully crafted debut album that showcased Chantel’s versatility and talent as a singer-songwriter.

Chantel’s follow up album, Like Control, again produced by Livingstone Brown, was released in October 2015 to critical acclaim.

All About Rock’s review of the album said:
‘The album in its entirety has a common theme running through of gothic imagery which makes it almost a concept album but each track stands out on its own. Chantel’s double tracked vocals are amazingly tight & the production on this album sounds loose which is a compliment to Livingstone Brown & Chantel who have obviously spent a lot of time on the arrangements. The girl can obviously shred but she does so in a very understated & despite the title of the album, a controlled way. Recommended for fans of blues, rock, Jeff Buckley, Marillion, Big & Rich, Country & Nick Drake. This is a hard album to categorize & pigeon hole which in this day & age of labels & boxes is a good thing.’

Planetmosh reviewed the album with the following comment:
‘The album is full of great guitar work, but Chantel McGregor isn’t just a guitar player – she does the vocals too and they are equally impressive. She’s got a great voice and the variety of songs on the album allows her to demonstrate a range of styles vocally. It really is a great album.’

The single, Take The Power, was playlisted for 5 weeks on Planet Rock radio.

Chantel is currently writing for her third album, debuting some of the new tracks on her 2017 tour which is currently taking place throughout the UK and Europe.

Details:  Led Into Zeppelin are one of the UK’s leading tribute bands. The four-piece recreate Led Zeppelin’s back catalogue note for note in a tremendous and rousing gig which will evoke memories of the real thing.

The band comprises Paul Bradshaw as Robert Plant on vocals, Bram Duckworth as Jimmy Page on electric guitar, Nigel Clutterbuck as John Paul Jones on bass and David Holt as John Bonham on drums.

Paul has toured all over Europe since the 1990s and is recognised as one of the best Robert Plant impersonators in the music business. Bram Duckworth is an accomplished musician who can play the guitar in any style from jazz to rock. You can also expect Bram to emulate Jimmy Page’s stage presence, complete with high jumps. Nigel Clutterbuck has played bass for over 30 years and performed alongside 1980s rock band Dare, which was fronted by former Thin Lizzy keyboardist Darren Wharton. Finally, drummer David Holt is completely self taught and has worked with Craig David, Simply Red and The Stone Roses among others.

Bootleg Blondie
Date: 13th October 2017
Details:  BOOTLEG BLONDIE is the official Debbie Harry & Blondie tribute band and the only Blondie tribute to play the legendary CBGB’s in New York City before its demise in 2006. CBGB’s was the Holy Grail of American Punk and New Wave, where the real Blondie first kicked off their career.

The Bootlegs have played the Isle Of Wight Festival, the 100 Club and the Hammersmith Palais in London, The Electric Ballroom, Eric’s in Liverpool, and have opened up for amongst others The Undertones, Slade, Bad Manners, The Beat, Heaven 17, Toyah, Hazel O’Connor, Tony Hadley and can be seen at all the major venues and festivals around the UK and Europe.

Debbie Harris and the boys have met the REAL Blondie and are officially endorsed by the band. Debbie Harry got in touch in 2006 when she heard we were playing CBGB’s in New York City to wish us good luck with our show and when Clem Burke, Blondie’s charismatic drummer, found out that we were making a replica of his Premier drum kit, he arranged for us to meet him to sign our bass drum skin. ‘During the 2010 Blondie tour of the UK we took Clem out for a trip around London in our tour bus, he signed that too!!!!’

In 2014 Clem invited Debbie and Andy to a recording session at the Foo Fighters’ famous 606 Studio in Los Angeles, where they saw Clem and the awesome Neve mixing desk in action!

Debbie and Andy got married in March 2016 and to their great delight received two video clips from both Blondie and Debbie Harry herself congratulating them on their wedding day. What a wedding present!

And probably the best Xmas present in the world ever was in 2016 when Clem Burke came along to a Bootleg Blondie gig and actually got up and played drums on stage with the band. Afterwards he said that watching and playing with Bootleg Blondie was very emotional. We were very touched by his presence!
Debbie Harris, lead vocalist of Bootleg Blondie, has the looks, the voice and the attitude of the original Blondie bombshell and like her heroine is typically outrageous on stage. She has been known to wear dustbin liners, thigh length boots and t.shirts with more holes than t.shirt! Debbie’s pride & joy is her guitar which she plays at every show and is signed by all the Blondie members.

Debbie Harris is the niece of the celebrated singer and actress Shani Wallis who played Nancy in Lionel Bart’s musical film ‘Oliver’!

‘Good luck with your show!’ DEBBIE HARRY
‘Playing with Bootleg Blondie was very emotional’ CLEM BURKE
‘Hey Debbie and Andy congratulations, rock the house!’ DEBBIE HARRY AND BLONDIE

Now following a solo path, his first solo album in 24 years Sweet Soulful Music was released late in 2007 followed by The Very Best Of Andy Fairweather Low which was released in the UK in June 2008 and the Live DVD followed hot on it’s heels.

In fact Andy has been touring and releasing CD Albums since then and is building a strong following having now released four CD Albums, One Live DVD and a Three disc Box Set DVD / Double Live CD which debuted in the Amazon Box Set Top 50 in it’s very first week of release.

2013 saw Andy & The band opening the shows on Eric’s European tour headline The Americana Festival and complete their first tour in Japan with 8 shows in Tokyo and their UK Autumn 2013 tour in support of the Zone O Tone was so well received that further early Spring dates in 2014 were added in the UK and Germany.

2014 started with the band on Bob Harris’ rock show playing in session and continued with two UK tours, Festival appearances, a second tour of Japan and further German touring and a landmark appearance at Bluesfest held at The Royal Albert Hall which was broadcast lvie on Paul Jones Radio 2 Blues show and the next night they played a show at The New Theatre in Cardiff which was both filmed and recorded and was released as a DVD / Double live CD in Autumn 2015.

2015 itself was a year of consolidation as it started with an appearance in January at Celtic Connections Festival, contained two long UK tours, two tours of Germany, another Japan stint, a tour of Ireland and several UK summer festivals and one in Estonia but many people will remember that in May 2015 Andy and the band were the opening act for Eric Clapton’s 70 th Birthday tour starting at Madison Square Garden, NYC and ending with a run of seven shows at The Royal Albert Hall.

Fleetwood Bac
Date: 27th October 2017
Details:  FLEETWOOD BAC
MAC ARE … BAC! ! !

FLEETWOOD BAC are the world’s first and best Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band, endorsed by Mick Fleetwood himself, the only Mac tribute to authentically replicate the classic ‘Rumours’ line-up. Over the last few years they have received rave reviews from ‘The Stage’ newspaper, the U.K.s leading Fleetwood Mac fansites, the official Stevie Nicks website; and from ecstatic audiences wherever the band played, wowing audiences as far afield as Dubai, St. Tropez, the Cayman Islands and Monte Carlo, and twice selling out the world-famous Minack Theatre in Cornwall.

Fleetwood Bac have also been rated by The Times newspaper as one of the U.K.’s top 5 tributes, alongside The Bootleg Beatles, Bjorn Again and the Counterfeit Stones. Fans include original Mac bassist and biographer Bob Brunning, who joined the band several times on stage, and Peter Green’s official biographer Martin Celmins.

The sound, the look, the mystical atmosphere and on-stage chemistry are all portrayed with the passion and energy that got the seal of approval from ‘Big Daddy’ Mick, and built up an excellent reputation amongst Mac fans through numerous tours, festival appearances, corporate events and TV and radio slots all over the U.K. and Europe.

The Fleetwood Bac show focuses on the ‘Rumours’ era of the band (still the 5th biggest-selling album of all time). It also features several songs from the Peter Green days, plus some of Stevie’s biggest solo hits, in either a theatrical 2-hour show, including costume-changes and an acoustic section, or a one-hour Greatest Hits Show, specially tailored for corporate events.

Songs featured (all UK and US hit singles) include: Dreams, Don’t Stop, Go Your Own Way, You Make Loving Fun, Tusk, Gypsy, Everywhere, Oh Well, Rhiannon, Little Lies, Black Magic Woman, Seven Wonders, Say You Love Me, Big Love, Oh Diane, Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around, Albatross, Sara, Man Of The World, Hold Me, Green Manalishi, Need Your Love So Bad, The Chain etc…

What people have said about Fleetwood Bac:
