Never seen it from his side, good pic. Now is it Worsley Mesnes or Goose Green because I once lived on Bentinck Street which was in Goose Green. Maybe the boundary is along Warrington Road.

I was married here in 1965......
St Paul's Church,
Goose Green.
That's what the address was stated as.
Mick only recently got his Worsley Mesnes and Goose Green mixed up on WW.

Roy its now Worsley Mesnes Greater Manchester, they have done away with the Goose Green because there is nothing thats green left and all the Goosey have been shot.

Somber photo Mick. But it matches my mood. I too am very somber today, yesterday my Bro-in-Law John Kelly Passed away on Friday night. He had been in a home for many years but it is still a shock at the end. One of his pass times was playing the cornet/trumpet in a band that played in a Club at Blackpool SS. His regular job was canal worker. RIP John.
