I think John the Baptist was one of the apostrophes , there was 12 of them all together. Peter James John
Andrew Bartholomew or Nathanael
James, the Lesser or Younge, Judas
Jude or Thaddeus ,Matthew or Levi
Philip ,Simon the, Zealot and ,Thomas

They were Apostles Mick not apostrophes

The 12 "Apostrophes" of the Bible!
Only Mick could post something like this.
Absolutely brilliant.

I know many of the congregation of St John the Baptist, they are all without exception very nice people who love their church and work hard to support it .
Whenever I've visited I've been impressed by how well the church is cared for ,a credit to all concerned !
Thank you Mick for all your work for P-a-Day

There are four St Johns - first came John the Baptist (the one this Church is named after) - he baptised Jesus in the Jordan... and had his own disciples. He's the one who was beheaded. Next comes John the Apostle - one of the 12. Then comes John the Evangelist, who wrote the Fourth Gospel, and probably the Epistles of John. Then there is John the Divine, who wrote the last book of the New Testament - the Book of Revelation.

Nice photo Mick. Isn't it nice having a "Rev" in touch 24-7.
