I walked round the lily pond a few years ago with a dear friend and it brought back so many childhood memories of Sunday Afternoon outings to Haigh Hall on the tractor. I remember the huge golden fish in among the lily-pads and the greenhouses behind with masses of plants and flowers.

Are the railings a recent addition as I have a photograph sat on the wall years ago? The green houses are in the background as well.
