All right I give in, how did you organize the truck train and barge to be in the same place at the same moment in time ?.

Of all the photos of this place, this is the first one I've seen with all three levels in active use. Nice..

Getting all those modes of transport in the same shot. Absolutely fantastic.

Three levels of history, first came the canal then came the railway and finally the motorway.

That is brilliant - you must have been biding your time and 'lying in wake' for these events to 'happen'! What a pity there was no helicopter hovering! (and someone on a bicycle on the tow path!)

Well timed Dave.

Great composition Dave!
With the exception of a horse, this photo shows all forms of transport down the ages in one shot. Brill!
Too much to expect an aeroplane and hot-air balloon!

I've spent many hours walking and running on the towpath and many times i've seen 'Trains and Boats and Planes' as Burt Bacharach wrote. At that point at the same time but never taken a pic. Good photo Dave, next bridge towards Liverpool from yesterdays photo.

I heard of a sad case!
A pensioner had died of hypothermia. She'd been shop-lifting in Iceland and stuffed a frozen chicken down he knickers! :O)

Dave, the harder you try, the luckier you get is the reason your pics are always good. Well done.
