Interesting. A fingerpost for various destinations, and points of interest.

Makes me wonder how many Wiganers who pass comments on Photo of the Day have followed the sign directions and rode a bike to all those places on it.

Because I do get out and about, I have done it quite a few times.

Just roughly reckoned it up if you did them all in one go it would take you 153 minutes and if you had to come back it would be around 306 minutes

Why cater to the cyclists? What speed is used?
Good clear photo, Rachel.

Good question Ernest, but I should imagine theres more people who ride bike along it the walkers.

Anyway you could just imagine if it takes 10 minutes to get to Worsley Mesnes on a bike, its going to take twice as long if you walking.

And even the bike times wont allow for when there fishing matches on, and you have to keep waiting for them to pull in there long rods
