A chilly morn on Aspull moor by Ron Dawber (Kodak compact camera)
The pair of houses at the font was an old farm house extended and refurbished, with new houses built along side. Nice little development. Just by the side of The Old Queens Head, now Aspull Spice.

Nice one Ron. That old farm house would have been the Leigh's farm, Alf and Jimmy Leigh, one was the father and the other the son, and I can't remember which was which. Used to help them out at harvest time and mucking out the big horses, the pig sties were next to the Methodist School yard, lovely smells.

Lovely photo Ron.... :-)
For those who were worried about me ...thank you so much for doing so....we are fine...lucky not to be too close to the fires...lots of smoke of course...there is a lot of devastation....but at this point no one has lost their lives... Cheers!!!

Nice photo, have noticed the houses being built, they do look nice. I think one of my cousins now lives there.
