I've just been for a walk around a local park and was thinking of Wigan park then. I've sat in that shelter many a time when it's been raining or had tea in the café. happy days
If you was a stranger to Wigan you wouldnt say that photo was in Wigan

cannot remeber the building at the forefront of the picture though.Was it there in the 50`s ?
Jean, if you click on to Printers item number 18398, there's a photo of the building with the Wigan Observer staff taken in the early 1960s.
Love Mesnes Pk though not stepped foot in it for over 10 yrs!
