The other end
The other end   by Dave (Oy)  (Fuji X-T1)
Same morning as yesterday's shot - looking the other way

Comment by Ken R on 14th September 2014 at 00:15
Colour, and it comes to life.

Comment by Ellen on 14th September 2014 at 00:39
Very nice.-but my ancient brain still prefers monochrome for nostalgic pics!

Comment by Alan (on Vancouver Island) on 14th September 2014 at 00:52
Beautiful.....but I still prefer yesterday's.

Comment by Ernest Pyke on 14th September 2014 at 06:40
Don`t like this, Dave, perhaps it would be better in monochrome!

Comment by Mick on 14th September 2014 at 08:16
I was riding my bike past there yesterday afternoon so its a bit run of the mill photo for me.

Comment by maggie on 14th September 2014 at 09:32
They are both really good pictures. They are not just record shots, but are each a work of art. Thank you so much for them.

Comment by kath on 14th September 2014 at 09:36
I prefer the monochrome too. That's a lovely willow tree on the side

Comment by Fred Mason on 14th September 2014 at 09:55
You'll never win, Dave...

Both excellent shots as usual...

Comment by dave johnson on 14th September 2014 at 10:50
Think this is a cracker. For me the tree makes it!

Comment by irene roberts on 14th September 2014 at 10:50
Lovely, but prefer the black-and-white. That was really special.

Comment by Syd on 14th September 2014 at 13:18
This is a really beautiful photo and as usual Dave produces the best. However, it would seem that if it is in colour then it should be in monochrome, if it is in monochrome it should be in colour. My God, can't you people just appreciate something for what it is, instead of completely focusing on all things negative. Be thankful that people like Dave post photos like this for our enjoyment, this really is a fabulous photo, why can't you negative morons see this?

Comment by irene roberts on 14th September 2014 at 17:31
I am not a negative moron, Syd; I said the colour photo was lovely, and the black-and-white too. I expect Dave posted both so that we could see the difference and I imagine he expected people to express a preference, which they have done, but almost all have said they like both, but prefer one over the other.

Comment by Dave (Oy) on 14th September 2014 at 18:45
Ta folks :)

Comment by Betty on 14th September 2014 at 19:27

Dave. Beautiful

Comment by David on 15th September 2014 at 12:06
Superb!

Comment by Julie on 15th September 2014 at 16:21
Well said Irene. Syd, there are no morons, only people. It is nothing remotely to do with be negative as Irene so rightly said, it's about preference. If anything it was your own comments that are negative.

Comment by irene roberts on 15th September 2014 at 19:32
Thankyou, Julie.

Comment by Jean F (Wales) on 16th September 2014 at 22:00
