Comment by: Garry on 28th June 2014 at 10:34

Kids are watching aswell, not really a good idea to show children, they always copy.

Comment by: Mick on 28th June 2014 at 11:32

Comment by: Fred on 28th June 2014 at 12:32

To hell with namby pamby health and safety! Its taking risks that made this country great. As for kids copying? They watch Superman, but I haven't seen any kids trying to leap of tall buildings. Some people in this country have gone soft.

Jemmy, What planet are you from.? Kids not copying!? Wake up, kids are now deciding the future, they are shooting guns seen on film or in games. Free running etc etc. They are way ahead doing things we never did. Stick to thin blue line jemmy, you are talking nonsense!

Comment by: Gareth on 28th June 2014 at 18:44

Jenny talking nonsense , I don't think so !

Jenny talking nonsense.

Comment by: Garry on 29th June 2014 at 10:28

Jemmy must be a kid as well.

Comment by: Jemmy on 29th June 2014 at 11:47

Rubbish , Polly. A few perhaps but not many. Otherwise, ther would be no kids left on the planet!
How many kids i Wigan haveyou seen shooting guns? (real ones?) You're living in the past.

I'm in my early 90s, so I am NO kid! I fought in the last World War and know all about REAL danger. Not dangers "imagined" Weak kneed language espoused by so-called 'do-gooders' is making Britain a soft touch.

Comment by: Garry on 29th June 2014 at 20:30

As I said, kids copy, you have to be careful, just like swearing.

Comment by: Polly, on 30th June 2014 at 00:58

Jemmy, The fact you fought in the 2nd World War is to your credit and we owe a huge debt of gratitude to you and many others. My father fought in the Polish Resistance and was in Buchwald and Dachau. Saying this I still believe kids copy what they see and hear. We will have to agree to differ.

Comment by: Garry on 30th June 2014 at 10:46

Polly's spot on.

Comment by: Jemmy on 1st July 2014 at 01:16

Agreeing to differ is fine, Polly. However, kids rarely dangerously copy. There'll always be the odd one or two. On average...NO. Kids don't try and leap from great heights, etc. Despite what they watch on TV or elsewhere. On average, kids realise its "pretend" Exceptions? yes, there always will be. However, I think you are underestimating the intelligence of most children and are being unfair to them, If kids DID copy so much, there would be no one left alive. Including us!

Comment by: Jemmy on 1st July 2014 at 01:24

Polly isn't spot-on, Garry. If she was, there would be no children (or adults)alive today!

Comment by: Garry on 1st July 2014 at 10:48

Thats ludicrous, Jemmy. Polly's spot on.

Comment by: Polly on 1st July 2014 at 16:59

Jemmy, So when something on the internet goes viral, this one or. two? is not copying?
Sorry Jemmy, you are out of date. You people are copying trends and.following the need to be cool. Do your research in some cases this means suicide to be cool. Jemmy, I,m not making this up I'm reading about it day in day out. You are so wrong, even though I wish you were right, times have changed Jemmy. Sorry, we disagree but they have, it is far from being just one or two, especially in the new world of the internet. Every other day something is going viral, kids copying to be part of it.
