Went by there this morning and kept the dogs out of the Flash as it is full of algae . A usual thing when it gets warm !

tricia I saw your post last night and Ive already looked through my photobucket but I cant see any of the water tower.

I will keep your request in mind next time I passing it.

I also have said it used to stand out to me and my mates, like when we was climbing a tree we used to say I can see that white tower thingy from up here.

Hi Mick
I posted again on there today.
I used to think it was a 'thingy ' too.It could be seen from all over in those days.
Am I right in thinking you went to Singapore at one time?
If so , do you remember the Bank of China Buiding near Boat Quay?
It always reminded me of the tower , and home.
Its very different now as they have added a lot of floors to it.
Thanks for your reply. I still keep looking at Porters Wood.

Janice: Was wondering if there is any cow parsley in this area.
Have looked at :-
http://www.wildlifetrusts.org/species/cow-parsley
But areas like flashes aren`t mentioned.
Jean: I can`t see any buttercups.

tricia I lived in Singapore for 12 years from 1972 to 1983 and know the Bank of China building well and know what you mean.
