impressive in black and white. where is this?

I drove up this lane yesterday and once again, just around the corner from the bend in the distance, some low life scumbags have dumped their rubbish. This time it's building rubble. A few months ago, it was someone's old sofa.
What is wrong with these selfish creatures?!!

A very 'crips' image David. What a wonderful photograph and I really like it in black and white.

Kath if you go to Roby Mill and turn into Farley Lane continue along and you come into Crow Lane this brings you out on Beacon Lane at the top and you can't miss these cottages If you go to May 2010 on Photo-a-day you can see this pic in colour.Ellen glad it gives happy memories.

Jean, Dave has said, in his comment at 12.22, that you can see this photo in colour on P-a-D May 2010. It`s on Wed.26th May 2010.
I much prefer it in colour.

For Ernest; I looked at the 2010 posting, and strange to say, I prefer this monochrome version, although I really can't say why. Maybe it's because my memories of this place are from my monochrome photography era!!

Ellen, everyone to their own taste!

Ernest, I'm in complete agreement with you on that!
